Role Description
The Business Analytics Analyst at Citi is a developing professional role that applies specialty area knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes and data. This role involves identifying policy gaps, formulating policies, interpreting data, and making strategic recommendations. You’ll integrate established knowledge within your specialty area while developing an understanding of industry practices.
Responsibilities
- Data Gathering: Collect operational data from various cross-functional stakeholders to analyze past business performance.
- Trend Analysis: Identify data patterns and trends to provide insights that enhance business decision-making in planning, process improvement, and solution assessment.
- Policy Recommendations: Recommend actions for future developments, strategic business opportunities, and operational policy enhancements.
- Data Analysis: Engage in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis, and/or qualitative analysis.
- Insight Translation: Convert data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external business partners to build, implement, track, and improve decision strategies.
- Risk Assessment: Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and maintaining transparency in reporting control issues.
Requirements
- Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Skills: Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to work with cross-functional partners and team members.
- Education: Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
